Hell Heck. Bought the Anniversary Edition and got myself a beauty steel case with a happy-go-lucky code to do whatever with!
So I decided to gift it to my buddy the PS4 digital edition + other perks code. Btw he who does not by racing games (most games in general due to cost) and loves to race. Funny, my friend would absolutely hate this because of the Carnival like rigged roulette tickets, constant push for you to spend over 100,000 credits on a 25,000 credit car to barely compete in the menu book items (on hard difficulty mind you), very subtle ways credit seems to drain from your account and all the while being teased by invitations to spend days worth of work on a bad deal (in my opinion). Instead he loves it. Mainly because its a beautiful game and has a quality to it like not many other race games. Damn does it look good too. Did I mention he also got 1,000,000 credits, 11 special cars, soundtrack and 30 avatars with the code... which in GT7 translation means roughly $150-$200 of in-game purchases if you go the credit purchase route (minus the avatars and soundtrack). I probably won't even see half those cars in my garage. Especially when my roulette tickets produce 90% of the time.. 5,000 credits. That being said I refuse to be a baby with a sucker dangling in front of him. My buddy has the best outlook because this game was a gift and is seeing the beauty in the racing and cars. Even if I can't jack up my car with 4 hours worth of credits; I'll take my 3rd place, enjoy the race, sick graphics, not bad soundtrack and just race. Just don't buy credits folks.
