Light of the Jedi: Skeptical After 20 Chapters
There are a lot of positives to what I’ve listened to so far, but it’s starting to lose me. Not that I need “light saber wielding action” on every page, but I find there are a lot of characters that I can’t seem to keep track of. I see that the Hetzal disaster was a way to show the deeds of the Jedi in this period, but I’m still waiting to be awestruck.
Also, the political intrigue is not that …intriguing. I guess I’m spoiled by James S.A. Corey and their approach to political intrigue.
I don’t normally do this, but I’m thinking of moving on to another book. I’ve seen and heard so many good things about The High Republic that I was mad at myself for not jumping on this last year. Now I’m glad I didn’t purchase all the books at once.
Without spoiling it, does this book get better? I’m finding it more difficult to listen.
Thanks in advance for any response.
