My first Tournament

It’s only a 1k tournament but it is my first and I want to be sentimental and run my very first 40k army in it, which is sadly Chaos Space Marines, and I know about the units and I’m mostly curious what is currently working for them in the competitive meta, from what I understand contemptor dreads with dual twin volkite are big contenders, along with decimators with dual soulburner petards, I also like the venom crawler for it being a good bargain for the points that you pay, I’m looking into running black legion or alpha legion for their stratagems, but please let me know what you all know about the chaos space marine competitive scene if there is much of one, from what I understand they aren’t doing to hot.
