Please Help! Game closed incorrectly error

I started the game and entered the tutorial for the first time. I played for just a few minutes before changing the settings; of which i only changed one. The spatial audio setting (I believe) was the only thing changed, and I did not mean to change this one. The game slowed incredibly, would not register inputs and eventually crashed. I tried to restart the game, and it gave me an error stating that there could be corrupted files. Saying yes freezes for up to 20 minutes, before saying there are no errors and saying no makes the game close after a few seconds. I have reinstalled the game and I am playing on the steam version. Any help?
