Populating a single metadata field from multiple sources

This is somewhat a duplicate of my previous post and I'm aware there's an open issue but I'm wondering if anyone is using creative solutions to work around this for the time being. Perhaps some creative use of a plugin like Library Management or some funky workflows?

Basically I want to, for example, pull Feature metadata from multiple sources without having to edit each game's metadata manually and pick and choose what I want from each source.
