Opinion on Sieges Currently.
I was wondering on the current opinions of the Total War Warhammer community on the current sieges/battles and mechanics of Warhammer 3.
I’ll start by discussing what I think about them.
I actually like the idea of the sieges implementation of towers and barriers. However I feel like in its current state it is overused. Especially towers in minor settlements without any walls.
I am not a fan of minor settlements without walls being able to quickly build these defenses, and would prefer it to not be there at all.
If the minor settlements were of a high tier either in walls or the settlement building itself sure, it can have some more defensive capabilities that makes sense.
As for capitals since they always have walls and there are far fewer I’m ok with them having them from the start.
This being said, I wish there were more offensive ways to take out towers specifically. As I do not like going into a battle that will guarantee that I get damaged from something that effectively cost the enemy nothing.
This is how I currently feel on the matter. I would love to hear the opinions of others, about what you agree and disagree with in terms of the statements I’ve made.
Have a good one.
