it has been three days since I invaded my fellow tarnished

I grew bored of my fate. That boredom, bred sedition.

Eventually I decided that invading my fellow tarnished would sate my desires for challenge and excitement.

I rose from a pool of blood right by the stranded graveyard. I Immediately pivoted. This wasn't my first invasion, and I have seen traps set before. Yet when I turned I found no one. "No matter" I thought "they are probably just a while bit away, I should find them". Yet I explored and explored, as far and as carefully as I could, yet I could not find this host, nor any sign of his compatriots. I used a finger to try to get back on his trail, only to find myself back where I started.

This time I explored a different path. Kept an eye out for anything out of place. Items were looted from a corpse. Besides that, nothing. No bodies, no slain enemies, nothing to give me a clue to my prey.

I used another finger.

I awoke back at the stranded graveyard.

I am convinced my target is here, disguised with a mimic veil, but no matter how much I trash about with my sword, swinging to cut every bush and suspicious stone, I have found no one.

I have seen at least three nights in this world. I have grown tired of searching. I have taken to using my own mimic veil and playing the waiting game.

Edit : update! I have no idea.

After leaving my controller plugged in with my sticks bent at an angle so that it doesn't trigger an afk, I went to sleep, then to work the next morning. When I came back I was in my world with a disconnect from server message.

After invading another world with the EXACT SAME RESULTS I am convinced that there is an outcropping under neath the cliff behind the stranded graveyard that is only accessible using a specific weapon art that let's you move around in midair. I don't have this weapon art though. Players are sitting in this outcropping and using taunters tongues to lure players to their world in hopes that they will either give up not being able to find them, or die jumping for the cliff.
