Stop Being Xenophobic Challenge: Impossible Difficulty

Why is it that there are so many xenophobes who are floating around in this community? They don't all hate the same people, but conversations always go the same way.

Exclaimer for the bad faith: l Let's make this clear, everyone knows Russia is bad, is doing bad things, including invading Ukraine, and it's historical variations have done bad things.

So, here is how the average convo with a xenophobe goes:

Xenophobe: Russia annexed Luxembourg.

Me: No, that was the Nazis.

Xenophobe: Well the Russians ethnically cleansed Jews!

Me: I know, but that's not what you originally said.

Xenophobe: Stop apologizing for Russia.

Me: Who apologized for anything? You were wrong.

Xenophobe: Fuck you tankie.

Me: Idiot...

(Continue until xenophobe blocks me)

This exact same pattern happens every single time. And it's not just in regard to Russia, it could be any country, even the USA, and xenophobes will just go completely unhinged.

I seriously don't get it.
