The whole Seth and Summer break-up is so annoying

This is the such an irritating part of S3. Seth lies about getting into Brown and then lies about not loving Summer to keep her from not going to Brown. Couldn't he have just said like oh i don't know "let me try some different college near by like the one you were deciding to go before you choose Brown and still stay together". Its so infuriating to watch because he decide to get her back in the same episode where he breaks-up with her. It leads to some nice moments at the college and its nice to see Anna back and great to see his comic book(Ops sorry Graphic novel) come to his help. It does lead to some great moments where Seth's confession gets handed over to his Dad but the whole lying to Summer part gets so old at that point.
