Does anybody else feel like the click

NSFW

is completely random? I don't know, I like the premise of this device but the 'click' just feels like marketing gimmick.

Edit: lol nevermind, it always works exactly like it should and I'm a huge fan boy and I didn't mean to say anything bad.

It’s definitely not random. My clicks are so predictable I can anticipate exactly when they’re about to happen. You get to know your tip(s) and heating methods with regular use.

Yeah that'd be sweet.

It’s a necessary feature of the device, not a marketing gimmick, I like the click so I know when to stop heating. Without the click it would be a guessing game trying to figure out what temperature you’re at and when to stop heating, unless you’re using a digital infrared thermometer to check. If it were clickless I would surely be combusting all of the time.

It'd be a gimmick if it wasn't the core function of the device. Making it black or green is a gimmick

It's far from random

Being strictly analog, the timing of the click is very variable. It will take longer if cold, shorter if it was just used. Angle of the lighter, temp of the flame or heater will vary. So many variables. I use the same lighting technique, and count. It'll be between 10 and 12 "counts" almost every time, if I'm distracted it can be 15 or more, if I even catch it. I also always stop at 14 or 15, just in case... or "distracted".

Have a few diffrent caps the undated cap on the 19 nova will actually lift the nona off a table on the cool down click or if resting on side will also kick the cap almost off and so yea i can feel a click with all but all have a different click
