I'm working out more but gaining weight

So I'm 14, nearly 15. I'm 5'9 and weigh about 160. I was trying to lose about 3 pounds a month with hopes of reaching 148. It was going pretty good, I stuck to eating under 1300 calories a day. But then I started football. Now I'm doing way more exercise than before with 2 hours of practice 4 days a week. I'm eating under 1,300 on days without football, and 1,400 on days with football. I've actually stuck to that. And yet, I've gained weight instead of losing it since starting football. I don't want to keep setting my calories lower for fear of developing an ED, but I'm freaking out about gaining weight even though I've done everything right. Any advice?

Are you male? The appearance of weight gain can come with a potential growth spurt, and seeing as you're almost 15 you'd be due for one. This isn't necessarily fat but merely your body adjusting to your growth.

Homie you need to eat more, your body is going into survival mode because you are subjecting it to 2 hrs of practice X4 and eating <10k calories a week. I am similar in age and stats (6’ 170), and you should eat at least 1800 on days you have football. On days you don’t have football I’d still recommend eating 1800, but it not eat at least 1500.

I forgot to include my gender in the original post. I am female, playing tackle football. Would those numbers be the same for a girl?
