Ryan and Rioli love playing with one another
Naish was solid
Forgot how good Duggan was
Kelly needs to stop playing for kicks
Bailey Williams showed signs and was working into the game late
Edwards should play wing all year
Genuinely could've won.
If Darling had've shown up we would've won.
Ryan cost us with his misses.
Let's not focus too much on the umpiring but North kicked how many from frees and 50s?
Kinda disappointed with O'Neill and Foley. This was a game to step up and they didn't impress.
None of the top ups impressed in a meaningful way imo.
Jamieson clearly isn't ready.
BJ was better in the second half but I'm starting to lose hope that he's gonna be a replacement for Nic.
Overall though great effort to be in it. Willie 3 votes why not, not like anyone from North deserve them.
I’ve had a few beers and read that as “Ryan cost us with his missus” and was so confused what his partner had to do with this. Im getting off my phone now
I’ll give JD the benefit of first game back but he needs to be a shit load better than that. Needs to show that he’s motivated by more than the pay check.
Loved seeing Aaron Black snag his first goal.
O'Neill looked good until he kicked the ball. Couldn't hit a target today
I genuinely think we'll do some serious damage this year with a proper squad on the park .
Our afl players looked a level above theirs.
Speaking of which - norf are genuinely a rabble.
Happy with that. Great run out for a lot of young players and top-ups. Shuey played well and got through unscathed. Thought Gov and Willie looked sharp today. Stayed in the game for four quarters.
As much as I hate to lose at least it was fun to watch the scrubs scrubbing it up.
I went pretty hard on Alex Witherden in the match thread but his stats in the end looked pretty good with 91 ranking points, 21 disposals and 8 marks. Still, a couple of costly mistakes.
Bailey Williams looked much improved. Everyone (except Jack) gave 100%
It was at least a fun game to watch. Close from beginning to end, and some very good plays from Rioli that I can’t wait to see more of.
We have more deeper issues than what's apparent. If our list with Witherden Petrocelli Darling O'Neil Foley Put that up when right now is their turn to shine! Then the season is over already
Those guys aren’t a graders (except maybe Darling). It’s unfair to expect mid grade players to all of a sudden become A graders and win us a game
I assume you meant to reply to me? I never said they were or that they should.
Yeah wrong reply… my bad!
really happy with this if you can believe it! mcgovern and rioli particularly impressed me and i’ve not been so kind to gov so i’m happy he’s turning it around this season…
j*** d****** … i have no words for him
Spud?
Wonderful games by Rioli and McGovern. Great effort by a scratch team to keep going for four quarters against a professional AFL team. Very pleased for Aaron Black.
Stepping back, we needed to start a rebuild (at least) two years ago. The longer we leave it, the worse it will get.

We get it. There’s a discord. Do we need a comment on every post? Surely the pinned post is enough.
Cheers mate! Was out today and didn’t get to watch.
Can't be too pissed off with that game given half the players hadn't met the coach until a few days ago.
Darling's cooked.
Rioli's still amazing even after a two year hiatus. I wonder what 2020 and 2021 would've looked like with him playing.
I've been a bit harsh on McGovern since he's on such a high salary and hasn't been in his best form since 2018, but these past two rounds he's been fucking elite.
Luke Edwards did really well for someone who's allegedly not done much training this year. Probably our most promising young mid.
