Why were links/mentions of anti-capitalism removed and done with no announcement to the subreddit?

That's disappointing... Strikes me as difficult to align solarpunk with capitalism. Did they remove the greenwashing automod, too?

I had a comment deleted for “gatekeeping“ when I told a liberal to shut up. I’m honestly concerned that (like all radical social movements), Solar punk Will get taken over by capitalism and consumerism and spit out the other end. If we want to maintain our beliefs, we need to be explicitly anti-capitalist. It is a daily struggle for subs like anti-work to maintain their leftist ideals, although I believe it’s a struggle worth fighting for.

So yeah, we don't tell each other to simply shut up. That's why the comment got removed.

This is the same shit that happened to anti work. This must stop. I bring this up not for advertisment, but as a space that WILL NOT waiver in it's sentiment check out r/symbiotichumans
It is not time to run, it is time to fight. However, if any individual is seeking to explore symbiosis, what it looks like, the attainment of such, collaboration, no heiarchies, no politics, figureheads, no affiliation other than it's relationship with humans, and absolutely no economic incentive, this is what this sub is for.
We need more voices over here, and within this sub as well. This is the time of solidification in which way this sub will go. Be loud, and have tact. There are woodpeckers running amuck here attempting to sway core values. I hereby declare r/symbiotichumans a think tank for individuals seeking these core values, and aligning not within a political party or economic mindset, but a space that holds an expression of nature and the universe to the highest value of achievement and praxis.

wtf? solarpunk is by definition anticapitalist. Capitalism by definition means extracting profit from every transaction; amassing wealth by getting more for something than it is actually worth. This is theft. You cannot have a healthy society based on legalized theft.
