I don't understand Clinkz picks in these high-level games.
Am I missing something? I have been playing DotA forever, and not once has I considered Clinkz viable in competitive play. He is very squishy, no CC, no AoE, and needs his ult buff to be strong, which can be awkward if it falls off before, or during a fight. The only good thing I know he does is push down towers, but even then he really isnt stellar at it. Oh, and he also isnt Sniper, which is a plus.
Since DotA2, I have seen him picked in maybe 6-8 games, and never once has he won. Why is he even being picked? Is the limited pool in DotA2 so bad that we are resorting to Clinkz as a hardcarry?
I mean, I LOVE unconventional picks, gives diversity and excitement to the cookie cutter lineups. When weaker heroes are buffed I always hope they will pop up in high level play and people will realize their potential (like what recently happened to my homeboy Leshrac), but Clinkz I just cannot understand why he would ever be used, especially in this push-happy meta.
Someone enlighten me, please.
