Smort
When you pay a crazy amount of money for coffee that cost very little to produce, I ain't tipping nada
Then make your own coffee and don't take it out on the worker
Well, I do buy from Starbucks but I live in the UK, where they're able to pay their staff a wage. Unlike the US, the greedy bastards keep it and make the general public feel bad for their staff.
Been to the US many times and the whole tipping thing baffles me. However, the last time, I stayed at an AirBNB and the lady that owned the condo work as a bartender. Curious to know how what the situation was, she told me she loves getting the tips Vs a wage because she earns about $50k a year working evenings.
Still think it's shitty to rely on the customers though
Oh for sure, living in this country is rough cause people attack the worker insted of the company so much!!
Not sure what you meant by that but I do see that workers on the front line in the service sector, in the US have a bad deal.
Americans can be pretty obnoxious at the best of times and to top it off that service workers are looking to them for a tip, it must be pretty hard.
I love American, had so many great times there but worker rights and the healthcare system is abysmal. Not saying that where I'm from is any better but these things stand out to me.
uh oh no tip for you
