How is it with the pesto? I'd try it with a sriacha aioli myself.

Definitely try it. It's delicious, you're in for a great deal of happiness. :D
while surely delicious, given those ingredients, i respectfully direct you nad your food photo skills to r/shittyfoodporn
You can only do so much with a phone camera :c
But... what exactly is wrong with the photo?
food pictures are an inexact science. try taking one that flatters the ingredients (which sound delicious) a little more. also, when taking the picture, imagine the framing the way you would look at the food on your plate. play with the angles a little. your face isn't on the table when you admire it, right? do a google image search of 'bagel sandwich' and get some pointers, and compare how delicious the photos taken properly look to those with a similar angle to yours.
hope you ate well, regardless!
Cool, thanks for the tips!
I made it, and only afterwards thought to snap a photo when it looked so tasty, so the arrangement of the food was more functional than for show.
I swear I thought I was the only one who put pesto on their breakfast sandwiches. It's absolutely delicious
That looks delicious!
