When, if ever, do you give up?
Just played a match as Scratched Mirror Myers on RPD. No hooks spawned in the library. Nancy and Claudette are the only 2 left and were healing in that very far corner with a totem. I charge up there, Claudette runs, but Nancy just stays there. I down her, hook and kill Claudette. Close the Hatch and Nancy gets up with Adrenaline but stays in that unhookable spot.
The game was lost for her. I had won. But she chose to wait for a 3 minute bleed out timer rather than go for another chase where I might have a chance of winning and hooking her. She chose, from hells heart to spit at me.
Now, this isn't to complain about a toxic Nancy. She made her choice, whatevs. My point is, do you guys think "Hatch is closed, the gates are too close/mobility killer etc. I can't win, plz hook me now?" Or do you defy the killer until the last?
I remember in a lot of matches when I was starting out, I was the last one slugged and I would look for a hiding spot. If I bled out rather than got hooked I was like "hah! I may have lost overall but I got one tiny victory out of that debacle". It was a test of my hiding vs their looking (Side note, I usually lost this test). And I always try to wiggle off, even if the killer wants to give me hatch. I want to play, not escape. That said, obviously I've suicided on hook, and stood in a corner as killer on occasion, but usually the game has to be a miserable experience, beyond just a losing one.
Thoughts?

If they wanna go someplace unhookable or hide and bleed out after hatch is closed, they can be my guest. I always have reading material ready for these moments. I don't have the will to deal with these kind of people. It's not even worth it. I'll forget their username mere seconds after the match anyway. I doubt anyone goes to bed and wakes up thinking "Goddamn that DeadHardFlasher69 for doing this and that!"
