What's something you see when you go to a man's house that makes you think, "wow, he really has his shit together"?

A trash can in the bathroom
There are people who don't have trashcans in their bathrooms?
I was also going to say this. Such a small, simple thing but it makes a huge difference. Particularly for visitors who have periods, but also for all other types of bathroom detritus.
Good kitchen knives, a framed photo or piece of art, scented candles, matching bed linen, multiple grooming products and a toiletries kit for guests.
So an Airbnb side hustle?
Seriously though that's 6 things.

A clean, tidy house.
Edit: yeah the bar is kinda low.
If his house actually has furniture and decor in it.
Well excuse me your majesty. You got something against having nothing but a TV set and a deck chair in the living room?
that's a man living his best life. If he has a lazy boy chair, instead, then he is a king.
When I started dating my husband I was 21 and he was 25. I remember just being impressed that his apartment looked like an actual place where a human lives. It was clean, he had well organized bookshelves and an actual table to eat at. Low bar I know but I was used to dating art school boys who were “exciting” and “creative” but also “emotionally useless” and “borederline drug addicts”. So yeah, it was just nice to be with a normal person who had a normal job and a normal fucking apartment.
I feel like the bar raises as you get older but the basics I’d say are just a well organized place with all the things he needs and loves.
Food ingredients in the fridge (not pre-made meals or takeout) And a piece of art on the wall that isnt a poster or certificate.
Something hanging on the wall that’s not a Marvel poster.
Cute cushions and blankets. Or a calendar/organiser on the wall.
Sheets on the bed.
As an underpaid cog in capitalism, I dont even have my own place...
Good art
Usually a significant other who appears relatively happy and does not currently appear to be trying to give me a subtle distress signal
100% completion of divinity original sin 1 and 2
TV in the kitchen. Not a huge one, but one so you can watch the news while you eat breakfast in the morning
Clean bathroom.
True, but such a low standard all the same lol
