Roommates

So I have a couple of questions regarding roommates and the housing contract:

Can you choose your roommate after you complete your housing contract and before May 15th? Like can I complete the contract now and then pick a roommate later?

I'm not an honors student and not a nerd. I'm an international student and I'm gonna major in Mechaical Engineering. I wanna go to ISR Wardhall but I'm not sure if it's the right fit for me. So how good is ISR Wardhall?

Does the university have a cycle rental system?

How exactly do the meal plans work? I understand that there are dining dollars and classic meals but which option is better: All classic meals or all dining dollars or half classic and half dining dollars?

So what exactly does the academic advisor do? Do you like pick the courses you wanna do first, complete the placement exams and the homework, and then meet up with the advisor? I'm a bit confused about picking-the-courses part coz I'm completely new to this system so can I meet with the academic advisor (virtually) before the date where you are actually supposed to meet the advisor?

Do you stay in the same room and dorm after the freshman year if you do decide to stay in university housing or do you get completely new allotments?

What exactly do I do now with New Student Registration Sign-up? Like you pick courses in june and start with placement exams and homework in may so what do I do now?

I'm sorry if my questions are dumb but I just wanna make sure that I get everything right.
