A small issue I am learning to deal with
So I am mostly writing this for myself, to take accountability, but anyone who experiences the same feel free to share! I'm interested in more thoughts on the matter.
I love making food, and I love eating food. That is something I know and am okay with. But my issue is that when I make food for my husband and I, and I enjoy the food, it can be hard for me to stop. For example, today I made nachos with beans, peppers, tons of cheddar cheese, and a mango salsa (also some sour cream on the side). I don't know why, but I just couldn't stop myself. I ate twice what I usually would. It was absolutely delicious, but while I usually can control myself, this time I just couldn't. AND THEN AFTER I decided to eat some krokan-is with hardening chocolate.
To be fair, altogether it shouldn't be more than 1600cal, but that's still a lot above what I usually eat. I ended up going on a 2 hour walk (not much honestly, only 10k steps cause I walked instead of my usual running) and I have no idea how many calories that uses up. I'm not even close to tired, and honestly could walk more right now, but it's getting very cold. I digress.
I don't know, I just feel a bit bad that I have some days where the tastiness of food takes over my goals. Then again, food is meant to be enjoyed, and I have good control of myself. So it's not the end of the world for me, so to say. I think I'm just scared of somehow falling into the habits of eating everything whenever I want. I don't really think it would happen, as I hold myself accountable and get on track relatively fast. But it still scares me. I never want to be 105kg ever again, or anything close to that.
Any thoughts on this, anyone? I appreciate everyone that comments!
