Adamancipator with Baronne is... good. This is after my sekkas light (pot of greed) got ash blossomed as well

Total of 7 negates (Ash, 3 monster, 2 omni, 1 spell/trap) and opponent can't summon from extra deck, after being -2 cards. The deck is nuts

If the Sekka went off they could very well have drawn better extenders like supplier, researcher, other tuners, gigant and still get a free reroll on one of their cards. The above board isn’t even the strongest one the deck is capable of making. Not using ash on sekka is the misplay here. It’s like saying to never ash pot of desires.

Here's a poll with reasoning underneath discussing this issue relevant to bo1 match games. Ashing immediate pot of desires is the play to make. Adam has so many ways of getting through what you think Ash would do. There wasn't a misplay.

Now that you say that, I've never actually seen someone use dark ruler no more on MD. I've seen plenty of droplets though

Same, I’ve played over hundreds of duels and have not seen one person run dark ruler no more so idk why this sub continues to promote that card like it’s a staple. Droplets are everywhere but dark ruler no more might as well not exist with how little it’s played if it’s played at all.

As with most things, just practice and becoming familiar with the deck you're playing. I definitely recommend messing around in solo duels to learn combos before hopping right into ranked with a new deck

Yeah thats unfortunately the state of the card game right now, unless you have significant hand-disruption, your opponent just gets to solitaire out a near unbreakable board

This is exactly why I don't do duels against Adamancipator users if they go first. I'd rather just save the sanity and take the loss.

I congratulate your opponent for waiting so much just to not be able to play at all.
They conceded immediately after I ended turn, was such a good sport. I just wanted to try out my royal Baronne, but the deck just feels dirty
