Looking for Black/White cards

I want to perform a trick that uses cards that are black on one side and white on the other combined with cards that are black on both sides and white on both sides.

Because this is a trick, if you see a white card you shouldn't be able to tell the other side is black, or vice versa. It should blend well with the cards that are same both sides.

I've tried painting double blank faced cards, but the results are not pleasing.

Anyone know of cards like this?

If you're using reversed cards as part of the trick, you'll want to use black cards with white borders rather than borderless, otherwise they'll show up.

I just mocked some up.

I went to printerstudio.com, uploaded a black image as the front of the card, and a white image as the back.

Voila, 54 cards with black fronts and white backs for A$23.95 in Poker size.

That's a good idea. I always thought you had to buy custom decks in bulk otherwise the cost was prohibitive, but I'll look into that.

Thanks.

I don't know any cards like that. If worst comes to worst: Learn how to split cards and make your own. It needs a little practice, but it's not that hard to do. There are great tutorials on YT. You could also print your own at printerstudio.com or a similar service. Their linen finish cards' quality is really good.

There are a few places you can buy custom decks or even just small packets of cards relatively cheaply. Just make sure you look into the card quality because many of them make cards that look decent but handle very poorly

I'm going to request samples before I order because handling will be important.

I would do white borders and use two different colors like blue and red, since white can’t have separate color borders

Can you be bothered splitting a bunch of decks? If so you could get some black/white NOCs (or similar cards).

There is a book by Bruce Cervon called the Black and White Trick that used this principle and came with business card sized black and white cards. It is still for sale some places
