Kitchen scale recommendations: my 45lb dog needs to lose weight

Hi,

I'm looking for a recommendation for an accurate kitchen scale. Over the past year, I've bought one from Costco and one from Amazon and both have been bad. They have huge variances, where the same thing will register with 100 grams difference. Any recommendations?

Edit: I would like a scale to weigh his food so that I know I’m portioning it correctly. He has a diet gently cooked dog food (prepackaged), supplemented with home cooked meat and vegetables that are uncooked (broccoli/carrots) or cooked (sweet potato/squash)
