author's note: I know this is weird but I got inspired because of something currently going on in my life and needed to express it in a manner that didn't make my anxieties worse.

this is certainly novel. i get what you’re saying, too: i am often scared of my own mind, and i feel like i’m attacking myself. one thing i’ll say: i know you’re talking about your anxieties, but i wish you were a little more specific. who is the person behind you, and why do you fear them?

also, some of your letters are scrambled. i don’t know if that was intentional or not.

it was a trick to write, i want to mention that i a physically safe the person is my professor and thank you for pointing out that some of my letters were scrambled it was not intentionally done being dyslexic spelling things forward is a trick sometimes so writing backwards can be even harder lmao

Forward, this would be:
'Because the preson fear i is behind me'

Just a small mistake, but otherwise, it's an interesting, unsettling piece. It almost works better as horror microfiction than poetry, I think.

I wonder if the final line is somewhat redundant? The speaker has already said that it sucks they don't get to have safety. Perhaps it would be stronger to end on the big reveal, like so:

eserever ni siht etorw i
reaf i nosrep eht esuaceb
em dniheb thgir si

I hope everything is alright, but assuming this was just an idea; it's amazing! It's such a mindful idea to show a plea for help with genuine rant included. It was a challenge to read, both because of the way it's written and subject it's on. I'd love to see some more like this! If you actually need help, I'm the most oblivious person who could've come across this.

im safe physically i'm handling alot of emotions right now and i needed this as an outlet for my feelings and as i said the person was actually behind me which made it much harder.

Hello readers, welcome to OCpoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community -- a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry", or "loved it" or "so relateable", please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our feedback guide, or look through the comment sections of any other post here, or click the links to the author's feedback above. If you're not sure whether your comments are feedback, or you have any other questions, please send us a modmail.

the contrast of talking about talking about safety but you yourself dont feel it is great. Writing it in reverse just to have a peace of mind is awesome too

but this line here kind of messed up whilst your writing it.
