I'm confused on how to build her. She definitely needs speed to pop that S3, at least after 1-2 openers, but her kit also needs bulk and some level of damage, and some ER so her counter doesn't get stripped so easily.

Pretty early still but you probably just build her like this guy has built her.

Most strippers in the current meta are openers, most openers are going to outspeed you anyways. If they hold their strip just to strip your counter buff Aria is already doing a solid job at suppressing their opener.
She doesn't really need ER imo, even having the counter stripped doesn't completely shut her down because you build her with so much speed already that she'll cycle and get S2's off anyways, even without the counter buff. If you build her with like sub 200 speed her counter buff becomes much more mandatory and at that point you should really look into having a decent chunk of ER on her.
That's just my 2 cents though, I haven't had much chance to mess around with her and I've only tried her on lifesteal and speed/immunity so far.

Liking her current build. Fast to get buffs up asap and cycle turns quickly if stripped/buff blocked have been solid.
I think an omega tank version using FTene arti might work as well.

I mean… If somebody wants to strip you they are going to do it… unless, you have like 200 ER I guess? But even then there’s a bunch of potential ignore resist memery that could happen to you.

I'm getting the point now. It's almost all or nothing when it comes to ER. I think I have a clear picture of how to build her. Thanks for the input.

looking at your SS and gold I'm getting the feeling that she isn't SSS because she's you're waifu. I think she's SSS because you probably have everyone at max imprint lol

SSS all the mega waifus but we only get like 1 a year so it is easy to hoard up. Lol

Is it not better to swap the Crti Set by maybe a Def Set since she starts with 45% crit rate ? I am asking just by curiousity.

It depend on your rolls tho, OP’s Aria has a lot of spd so maybe even with crit bonus they still can’t max her crit

Too early to tell, but most likely not.

Only reason you can't say she isn't good is cause of Rimiru/Violet/Hwa and buff strip here and there, but she isn't bad. Could be really nice with diene/double knight?, but def pen and stuff issues probably.

No whaling for her specifically, I lightly dolphin but mainly hoard. We only get 1 BOOBEST waifu a year(contrary to what Reddit thinks lol) so it is pretty easy to save up for SSS.

Lol! How many summons do you think it took overall?? I’m just saving up for the triple banner now and had some leftover, so I pulled just to get one copy of her.

Bad summon luck for her, good summon luck on artifacts. Pitied 2x straight out the gate into a 90 summon for the 3rd copy but I already had 6 artifacts at that point. Decided to stem the bleeding and use 3 of my slate stash for the last imprints since summoning efficiency would fall off having arti maxed already and group banner coming up.

Both should work but Ameru has my maxed fairytale.
I think her own arti for offensive build, fairytale for tank Aria builds are probably best; Abyssal also good for control style builds.
