Weather Canada data doesn't work in 64 bit

I downloaded this data but the program used to access it only works in 32 bit. Does anyone:

  • Know how to access it other that the build in program?
  • Know of any other data sources that contains historical daily precipitation data?

Thanks.

Right click on it, go to properties, click the compatibility tab, change it to something like XP SP3. Try it again.

Sorry, that's all I got.

You should email them, tell them to get their act in order and release a 32bit version.

If compatibility settings do not work, microsoft provides free vm's of 32 bit machines. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx

So, I actually work for EC in Toronto, I'll ask one of the weather guys about it tomorrow at work and get back to you.

It's Environment Canada.

They can't even forecast the weather correctly, did you actually expect their program to work?

It's a big building, I'll ask around again for you tomorrow. Do you know which department the data is coming from?
