Yeeah, one of my kitties is very good at fishing things out and batting them around during the night.

My paint brushes are one of those things 😅

That paint brush now belongs to the cat.

I keep my paint brushes away from my cats and don’t let them up on my bathroom counter where I have my makeup brushes. Which I keep where it’s difficult for them to grab.

I had a cat who loved makeup brushes, so I gave him a freebie I got. He left my nice ones alone for the most part.

My husband picks up any hair ties (I only have those plastic stretchy ones that look like telephone cord) and errant makeup brushes if the cats steal them.

My current two cats don’t care that much about my makeup brushes. Even the freebie \one they are allowed to play with. The only makeup brush they’ve shown interest in is a mini kabuki brush so I keep it in a drawer or my cosmetics bag. It kinda looks like a mouse and has natural fibers (it’s over 15 years old) so I don’t blame them.
