Worthy of a Laugh
You’ve gotta be kidding me,
but I just don’t find the strenght
to laugh at what you say.
I’m longing for night’s vicious embrace,
but wind has become defeaning,
sweeping the quiet sadness away.
I’d love to watch you trough the window,
finally laughing out loud.
But fate is a one way road,
no one can split it, no turning around.
Even you have lost your sight,
I guess sympathy is truly illusory.
But this can’t really be my sentence,
soon I’m gonna wake up without that memory.

I'm a new to poetry so from a format stand point I wouldn't know where to Critique in that regard.I enjoyed this poem the sadness aspect of wanting to sleep it away and forget as well as not having the strength to laugh or pretend is very relatable I wouldn't change a thing here.
