editing help

So I have found it basically impossible to farm pets unless I am willing to pay an absurd amount for the loot box garbage. I tried to find a way to give myself a couple carriers every time I finish a quest or something but all the programs don't work or are out of date. The current android os is also iffy about files.

How do I either go about editing my files a bit to make pets fair, or even better, actually farm them in game!
