is student acceptance day a big deal?

I have been fortunate enough to live by a the college I’m going to attend to. Though the students accepted day is tomorrow I don’t know if I should go. It’s like 4 hours long. Am I missing something important if I don’t go. Is it the same experience on a private tour than a group on this day?
