Nvidia Shield Tablet Wifi

Hey guys I'm sorry to bother id this isn't the right subreddit for this, but my shield tablet original has been having quite horrible issues with the wifi, has been for a while i have wifi extenders all over my house and even an old iphone4 and samsung tab 3 lite have better wifi reception, I'm just wondering if it is just the tablet has bad wifi or, is there something wrong? (ps yes i know this device is old, but i still like to use it ,ive tried downgrading the device back to android 5.1.1)
