[Spoilers] So, no warning?

WARNING: This is a complain and rant post. Move along if you don’t want to hear it.

I thought before burning the entire Erdtree you would have to bring the “kindling” to the door with the impenetrable barbs. Ya know, because that was the thing blocking access.

But instead, the game doesn’t warn you that an entire section of the map will become inaccessible and most, if not all, of its items lost. Yep, jumping into a big cup of fire will begin burning the tree 500 miles away, and killing this very hungry dog in the middle of a tornado will completely burn it. No warning :(

Not only have I missed the last legendary weapon I need, Bolt of Gransax (part of the Legendary Armaments achievement), I also cannot get to the Isolated Divine Tower to restore Malenia’s Great Rune (as far as I’m aware).

Have to start a whole new game… Which I did intend to do. But now I’m mad about it >:(

Warp from the tower of return in the weeping peninsula. Just did it in the post game so can confirm its possible.

Trust me, the wiki has been my best friend… Not their fault, but the only warnings I saw stand out was >!the Frenzied Flame ending locking you out of all other endings.!< But yeah, I still should’ve been more on my toes I guess.

You can't get the weapon? The spear is still there so I had assumed you could still climb it and grab the weapon... Access looked even easier to be honest. That's a bummer man.

Not as far as I’m aware. Hopped all over that damn thing. And the wiki says it’s missable :(

Can't you just continue into NG+ and finish the achievement there? No need to completely restart

The Legendary Armaments achievement allegedly resets progress each new game. So I’d have to get them all again.

I didn’t know how to get to it. So I figured it must’ve been like a mushroom or butterfly, like a fool. But I did mark it on the map to come to later. Until it wasn’t there :(
