Playing Through Every Choices Book, In Order (Part 51: LoveHacks 2)
Hey! Today we ditch our job at Clickit and start a blog with the most irrelevant LI from Book 1! Will we succeed, or flop hard enough to enter our Witness era? Let's find out!
Next time, we take control of Dave Reyes and Sam Massey, the two leaders of the gruesome Tull case. Can we take down this maniacal killer while pseudo-flirting the whole time? Who knows?

Review:
This book was more of the same in terms of the first book. I like how you can choose to keep things platonic or romantic with the three LI’s early on - it makes it easy to customize lol. There’s also a lot more interaction with the LI’s in general, and that’s great! Sereena’s LI is awesome, and I love how there’s a good amount of focus on them and diamond scenes for them. Brooke and Kio are cute, and I love how the whole gang thinks Kio’s a criminal lol. Andi has more personality than her sister, and is more likable too in my opinion. The plot is pretty barebones, and isn’t that interesting to me. Mark’s brother is also boring and I didn’t care about him lol. Amir barely shows up in this book, even if you spent the diamonds to matchmake him with Cole in Book 1, and it’s depressing. Every other pairing, even Felix and Isabel, have more screentime and scenes than Cole/Amir. I went with Mark as my final LI because I couldn’t get over Ben’s jutting neck how cute the whole friends to lovers trope is. Ben is really sweet, but I'm just a sucker for that trope lol. The ending is sweet, and the whole friend group really felt like, well, a friend group in that moment. Leah is also a lot more important/relevant in this book than she was in Book 1, so that’s great for those who romanced her. All in all, this book is a light-hearted romp and nothing more. If heavy plot matters to you, probably not the best book for that. However, the humor is still on point, and the book itself isn't terrible by any stretch of the means. Just wish it wasn't genderlocked!
