How to get navigation on the screen in 2018 EX?

I checked out videos but it doesn’t seem I have the same options to link to navigation. I just got my car so maybe I’m just unfamiliar. Do I need to plug in my USB to connect it to google maps on my phone? And would this mean I have to play music from the USB and not Bluetooth?
