Potential Bug Where I can't Declare on the Byzantine's.
So I have 3 claims on varying lands on the Byzantine's none of which I can press them on. I did some digging on this because it's been happening for a while now, I'm aware there's a bug around being celibate that prevents being able to DoW but I'm not celibate. I also know the Byzantine's have a special rule where if you're maimed or disfigured in some way you also can't, but I'm not maimed or disfigured.
I honestly have no idea why I cannot. I even killed the original ruler and now there's a 14 year old ruling, and I still can't do anything. Any help would be appreciated on if this is a bug or another condition I don't know about that I'm not meeting and also if there's a mod that stops the Byzantine's from being protected by silly rules.

Can you post a screenshot of your ruler?
That's not a bug. Byzantine culture requires that claimants have the ability to produce offspring. A celibate person obviously cannot.
I consider it a bug in the sense that I'm an independent ruler, why would I follow anothers beliefs? I'm invading their country and generally beliefs and all that are sorted out by might makes right.
Here is my ruler. Is it because he's hunchback? Now that I'm looking at it I bet that'll count as a reason to not be able to do it: https://imgur.com/a/dm4bxzQ
But you're going the "press claims -> declare war" route. Which requires that your claims to some extent are acknowledged. It's similar to how you can't press a woman's claim on a title held by a man if the man practices a male dominated religion.
If you use a conquest or holy war CB you sidestep this entirely because claims are not required.
Yeah, hunchback counts as a disfiguring trait.
...Stupid cripple. Thanks for the help my man. I do have a Greek princess in my court I can try to use her claims I suppose, just will require some political maneuvering.
