Can I place a Betta with my shrimp?

I have a heavily planted 30 gallon with drift wood and alot of places for shrimp to hide. I have including the babies a couple hundred shrimp(they have been breeding like crazy). Within a month I’m upgrading to a 46 gallon bowfront. Was wondering if since there is enough for them to hide and live comfortably. Having the Betta be mid/top portion of tank. More specific a half moon rosetail.
