Looking for an OBD2-Verizon Samsung Tab A solution for true mileage tracking.

Sorry if this is not the best sub for this question but all mile tracking searches led here. I have a Samsung Tab A from work with Verizon service that I would like to leave in my vehicle full time as a mileage tracker/ELD type system. I would prefer an OBD plug-in option as it would, hopefully, let me keep up with the starting and ending mileage of each trip. I assume this may also take some software/app but at least it wouldn't be a monthly fee version since the Verizon service takes care of the GPS tracking portion. Bonus points if it was a corded type of connection that could keep the tablet charged as well though a Bluetooth option would work as well. Hope is that I can take the tablet once a month and send a log to myself that shows every trip I took with start/end locations and miles to make into my companies report. Thanks!
