confused about the similarities between Christ and the myths of the old gods

Someone please help me out here! If you are educated on this topic please don't hesitate to hep me understand because this has totally turned my world upside down.

I recently came across information about the similarities between Ba'al and Christ. It's got me questioning everything! The virgin birth is nothing new either. And it's not just Ba'al or Inanna but so many others like Krishna. How can I wholeheartedly believe in Christianity anymore? The myths are older than Christ. And too similar for me to just dismiss.
