He called it on the guys response when he started to tell him what someone else said. Lots of lawyers object to the answer to a question they ask, and it just shows how little court room experience most of reddit has.
Depp is going to lose this case and best scenario - it gets thrown out AGAIN like it did in the UK.

Prove it. I’m so tired of this narrative and not a single person has been able to definitely prove she did that. Every single person brings it up and every time I ask for actual proof and not just ‘everybody knows it’, I get crickets back and no reply or source.
If it’s so obvious and well known and easy to prove, then a definitive article from a trusted source should be absurdly easy to provide.
Instead every article talks about how 3 UK judges found that Heard didn’t do that. Again this is a major talking point that everyone just assumes is true but nobody has been able to actually prove.

In simple terms, something that someone told you is not admissible as evidence.
As soon as a witness goes down that path ("tim told me amber did a turd.") the lawyer will object real fast before they can finish the sentence.
Whatever they say could not be considered by the jury anyway but it's obviously hard to tell people forget what you heard, so objecting fast before they finish is important.
This is kinda why he's fucked up and objected to his own question twice as he did it as a reflex when the witness started saying "she told me that..."

No one is drunk enough to do that. If you got drunk and shit the bed, you probably wanted to do it beforehand. Alcohol affects your inhibition, not your personality. So in my opinion people are more of themselves when they drink.
