When writing a CV does ‘additional information’ need to be relevant?
At the moment I’ve added some hobbies like playing sports/Xbox/drawing. Not sure if this is completely useless to employers

Irrelevant is best. Talk about things like past relationships and favorite snacks.
Personally I've always used it as an opportunity to touch on certain aspects of my non-work life that might demonstrate characteristics that an employer is interested in.
So in mine I've got something along the lines of:
"I play for a wholly unsuccessful 5-a-side football team with some of my friends" - trying to show that I can work in a team, but also adding a hint of humour which in my experience tends to go down well
"I'm passionate about fitness and currently training for a triathlon" - trying to show that I'm self-motivated.
Nice one👍
I don’t have a copy of mine on hand but the sports and drawing are worth including (shows creativity, commitment, groupwork if it’s a team sport etc), not sure about the XBox though; I suspect that (unless you’re applying to something technology-based) it wouldn’t be relevant unless you’re doing national competitions for it. Hope that helps, I know I included some of my hobbies that I’m really passionate about, it’s also a conversation starter for employers and just humanises you: not just a worker, but a well-rounded person
Thanks
Happy to help!
You'd want to try and use that space to promote skills that can be transfered.
So I play Xbox Games such as "Insert team game here" This has helped me learn to manage folk and work together to reach a shared objective. Stuff along those lines.
Thanks
