Best weather app for hourly forecast? (eg. when is the afternoon rain coming)
Only for understanding how it's gonna be when you're leaving home etc. not necessarily long term since that isn't very reliable imho.

Funny that this get downvoted. Most pilots i know are using this app. You can select your forecast model, have radar or satellite cloud overlays etc. Doesn't get better than that.

Combined rain radars by TMD. It's easy and obvious.

Clouds dark? Raining comes soon.

Windy is great and has radar view.

Shadow Weather looks at multiple weather sources and uses AI to "hyper-localise" the weather. It'll warn you when it's about to rain and it has instant lightning notifications which are a great way to know a storm is coming. Also gives you tons of stats for the next 10 days, and will give you an evening report about the next days weather

Download an android app called TVIS. It has the rain radar from the 3 main thailand airports. Use the time lapse feature ( bottom right on rain map) to estimate how fasts clouds are moving and when they arrive at you.
Way more reliable than any AI. Accurate enough to doge rain while cycling.

Apple's weather app is great. You need to know it's all prediction and may or may not happen at all. Apple Weather app has a precipitation forecast built in. You can see how the clouds and rains will be moving around in the next few hours. I'd say it's pretty accurate.
Apart from this this is the official govt live weather monitoring site. Weather Bangkok

I've tried many, they all are bs. I'm also open for suggestions.
I second this. Seems like it's not a matter of app choice, but our current weather models not being good enough for the specific task of predicting the time of rain in Thailand.
Weather radar can give you a rough idea, but so can looking at the sky and checking out the wind.
