Imagine perfectly predicting the god spot but dying in 19th place because they took it way too early.
Maybe sweet thought that this lobby is gonna be passive and let them play there, but when you have teams like Empire running around you‘re basically asking to get punished for this.

Empire just denied that shit. Im hoping NA sees this stuff and gets more aggressive in their tourneys because it was getting kinda stale seeing the moshpit in zone 6 every game.

They're just spinning in circles with their team comp at this point. If they had Wattson like they originally started with they would have been able to hold this.

That's how they've been playing for the most part. In the last game today he sounded surprised that "the Russians are rushing everyone", all whole he held a single spot for ages.
It's mostly NA teams tomorrow so it may be more of what he's used to predicting.

I’m the opposite I like when he’s composed. He brings some good knowledge to casting cause he himself has played in pro lobbies but when he gets “hype” it’s too much for me can’t stand it. I personally wish he’d tone it down a few notches, but I understand that’s who he is and that’s what got him his following.

The yelling is what gets me and made me stop tuning in to his stuff. Dude literally hurts my ears every few minutes. I like the hype but don’t like what it does to the mic.

After game 1 of the winner's bracket, there was a thread in this sub talking about TSM's mediocre performance and that Hal should swallow his pride and use Caustic. Everyone was just like "like that's ever gonna happen". However, Hal actually used Caustic on game 2. It seems like Hal read that thread in-between games. Mf didn't even know how many traps he can place at a time.

They Valk ulted into that spot in the middle of everyone and I'm not gonna lie, I love to see Valk ult rotations fail. It is such a "free" rotation that whenever it doesn't work out, it makes me smile.
Yep, I'm not a fan of the rolling of the dice with a Valk ult instead of trying to push through.
My theory is it's a subconscious crutch for people who would rather say they lost because of no open spots from a Valk ult rather than they weren't able to push through.
Same! I'm a TSM fan but every time I hear Reps ask Hal: "What are we going to do?" and Hal replies, "I don't know. We'll just Valk ult." I can't help but get annoyed and then feel mildly satisfied when they land in a shit show and get insta knocked.

It's not really the players fault is it, everyone is allowed to use Valk
It's funny because Sweet also hated Valk when introduced because she removes the need to position well if you can just ult later. He probably still thinks it's a necessary evil, but now that they did 'if you can't beat em join em', they're suffering from it. They've been consistently let down by their Valk ult decisions or executions all tournament.
