1d4 health potion
That'll be 1000 gold
Yeah but this healing potion is supreme
It still only does 1d4 healing but this one costs 2000gp
So it’s got pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, onions and green peppers? 😄
Supreme potion of healing, costs 100x more and heals the same
p.s. its scaled for discord and transparent in case you want it as an emote c:
So, I'm actually interested to find out why more dms don't use "branding" in their games.
Like guilds that sell their wares over larger areas, obviously having a more well-known label, then the stuff produced locally.
"Ah, dude this healing potion made me feel great, where'd you get it from?"
"A merchant in town, they were all out of name brand stuff, but this was on discount".
Or, alternatively
The Beholder: "So, my Lair was brought to you by the Samsung Sending Stones S+, now with 20% more charges as the next leading brand"
Funny enough in our last game the de-facto party leader was the in universe equivalent to a CEO for the worlds largest manufacturer of magical items, so i can at least say mine sorta does ^-^
