quiet condos/apartments/bach/studio close to uOttawa

Greetings everybody, I was recently admitted to uOttawa and I will spend a year studying on campus. For COVID reasons, I would rather live by myself, and is there any advice or suggestions for renting a quiet place that is in Sandy Hills, Centertown, or just close to the university and between $1100 and $1400 per month? Dead silent would be the best because I am fed up with my lousy neighbors. So yeah, any place that is quiet and falls within the budget would be great!

I heard rumors saying that the old apartments are the way to go because: A. They were built a while ago and use traditional construction materials like cement and concrete. B. Not as many people rent these places because they want more utilities. Is that true?
