Jon Ralph: Logue is unhappy with being dropped due to covid, will explore his options for a trade to Victoria

bold of you to assume ralph would know he was out due to covid.

Playing a bottom side after a win like Geelong is always a danger game, i feel like covid issues for us right now could actually help us not become complacent.

I sure hope im right...

Allow me to allay those concerns.

Norf is not a danger game. They're a bottom 4 side missing Cunnington, Hall, Larkey, Xerri and Polec. We're basically playing a VFL side and the boys know percentage is a big deal.

I agree with you, however if we lose I am now going to blame you :)

That's fair. If we lose to Norf I'm going to be blaming as many people as possible as fast as possible. Holy shit imagine the meltdown from our beloved Freo "supporters" in the match thread hahaha

We are going to win. I guarantee it

Don't forget they nearly pinched a game against the Swans a few weeks ago

They did play pretty well against the Swans, although they were helped by accurate kicking. They were decent against Hawthorn as well. Although they have 3 significant outs from those games in Hall, Larkey and Xerri.

Any game can be won or lost, but if we're ranking our first 8 games from most to least dangerous, I would have North dead last even with all the outs. It's certainly the first game we'll go in as strong favourites.

Teams have been known to get up for big games, it happens

Nice use of the word allay.

Yeah I thought about going with assuage but I thought that might be a bit wanky for a Reddit thread.

Rough for him, strung together a great couple of games. No doubt he'll want to keep up that momentum. Can't wait for him to get back out there.

In regards to Freo's team selection, though, a KPD out is one of the most trivial "reshuffle the magnets" outs this week—North aren't tall down back, especially with Larkey out. Nor do they have any big marking threats that Logue's shutdown tactics would work on. We'd have really been pushing it playing Pearce, Cox, Logue, Chapman and even Ryan in the same team.

This also no doubt puts to bed any ideas of Cox forward, in which case... by GOD THAT'S JYE AMISS'S MUSIC!!!

North Melbourne: Do I hear boss music?

Can't wait to see Drizzy robbed of rising star again, this time by his own teammate.

Now that he and Mundy have both had it. OBYB can safely be started up again

I think the lack of OBYB has been why I have been hella depressed this year.

Until they both catch it again in a few weeks to months, depending on the variant.

Honestly don’t mind covid this week. Should be a fun watch, a few new faces returning faces. Hopefully we can see Hamling out there.

He would’ve been a good matchup for Zurhaar.
