New Delivery - Charge Port ECU Delay - Can I Order Off Of eBay?

My new car is sitting at the dealer for 2-3 weeks waiting for the charge port ECU to arrive. Tesla rep stated they don’t have an ETA and will be on hold indefinitely. I found some ECUs on eBay and I was wondering can I buy one and give it to my service centre to install? Ordered the damn car last year in August and I’m tired of the delay.
