F4GM - Real Bad Time for Asian Teacher Forced to Moonlight as a Stripper

Who would've thought that being a high school teacher would be such a difficult career path? Back when my parents were teaching, they could easily support the family on their incomes. We had a house, a pool, the whole thing.

Nowadays, you're lucky if you don't have to pay out of pocket for school supplies for the students. And forget about taking the Summer off, because you've got bills to pay. In fact, just finding a teaching job is a total shot in the dark, and in order to even find a district that was hiring, I had to move to Alabama - ranked 48th in education - and started working for barely a living wage.

With my first year winding down, I haven't made a whole lot of friends. The students are awful, the parents are ten times worse, and the administration is always on the parents' side. And that's to say nothing of the fact that this particular part of Alabama has a specific... shall we say... "culture" that isn't particularly welcoming of certain groups of people, Asians included.

I was barely making ends meet when I started, so I had to find other forms of employment, and there simply weren't any. Well, there was one. About thirty miles from town, an area strip club was hiring, and I was in desperate need of money, and so during the weekdays I teach, and weekday nights I dance. I try to avoid working weekends, just so I make sure not to run into any parents. The owner - I suspect - keeps a much larger share from my nightly take than the white girls, but I have to take what I can get.

So, here I am, at the end of the school year, dancing on a Thursday night at the club. At least I won't have to deal with students or parents anymore until next school year. Or, that's what I think. I'm about to find out that people in town have definitely figured out that I dance for money at night, and some of the meanest ones have paid off the owner to arrange some "private time" with me. They've got something special in mind, and they're going to make sure they enjoy themselves, showing the stuck-up Asian history teacher how they feel about my kind around here.
