WWN or OSE

Hello r/WWN!

Kickstarter backer here with a question, while I have used the book for plenty of world-building and GMing purposes, how does the system do in play compared to OSE? My typical group really like the emergent gameplay that OSE brings, and the system of WWN seems a bit too similar to 5e but that might just be a misconception based on how I'm reading it.

Anyways, if anyone has run both, I was wondering what your experiences were with one over the other? Particularly going to be running a Dying Earth style campaign soon, hence why I'm asking.
