What's the correct way to load a plugin at startup .

Hey! I have‍ this small plugin, which is, really really small. According to the --startuptime flag it takes around 000.400 <something> on average to load. Since the plugin is really tiny I was wondering if I did something wrong that might be causing this startup time. Granted, this is my first plugin that's meant to load at startup so maybe this is just normal and I'm just being paranoid. ​ Any guidance would be truly appreciated :) ​ Edit: forgot to specify that the plugin is working. I just wanna know if this is a normal startup time/can be improved.
