Expired passport Visa cancellation

Hello community - I have an expired passport with my current DXB employment visa in it. I also have my new passport already (but of course there is no DXB employment visa in it).

I'm changing employers soon and wanted to know if I only have to hand in my expired passport for the visa cancellation. Or do I also have to submit my new passport along with the old passport to get the visa cancelled? Thanks a lot for any insights!
